TimberHP Hosts Passivhaus Maine in Madison
We were excited to welcome Passivhaus Maine to TimberHP headquarters earlier in November for a special day of education, product demonstrations and tours.
The group of nearly 40—including many builders and architects—arrived in Madison mid-morning. The day began with a deep dive into the TimberHP product line and discussing how wood fiber insulation offers a flexible, high-performance solution for mainstream and Passive House designs that can drive down the carbon burden of the built environment.
After touring the mill (which is really a construction zone these days), we got our brains full and hands dirty in the MADLab and MADGarage with wood fiber testing, handling, and installs. Many in the group already knew quite a bit about TimberHP and expressed excitement about being able to use our wood fiber insulation on projects beginning next year. This type of face-to-face contact with future customers, who then share their clear enthusiasm for TimberHP with colleagues and friends, is an important component of our go-to-market strategy. We’re grateful to everyone who made the trip to Madison and look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.
